Job Description
This position will guide young learners through age-appropriate instruction, classroom management, and daily care routines. Joining a two-teacher classroom team, this role is dedicated to providing a loving, safe, and Christ-centered environment that reflects God’s love in every interaction. CVC is seeking an individual who is passionate about nurturing each child’s spiritual, social, emotional, and developmental growth. This position is scheduled full-time, Monday – Friday (9am – 5:30pm), with school break periods off.

Job Requirements
All CVC employees must be in agreement with Articles I - IV of the CVCS Constitution.
Additional requirements for this position include:
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons, activities, and play-based learning aligned with early childhood development standards and Christian values.
- Creating a loving, structured, and engaging classroom environment that reflects Christ’s love and encourages curiosity, creativity, and growth.
- Supervising and caring for children throughout the school day, including routines such as arrival, meals, rest time, and transitions.
- Observing, assessing, and documenting student progress and developmental milestones.
- Communicating regularly and professionally with parents regarding student progress, needs, and classroom activities.
- Maintaining accurate attendance, records, and required documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Collaborating with preschool staff and administration to support a positive campus culture.
Education Requirements
State licensing requires 12 child development or early childcare education units. AA degree or higher, and experience with children preferred.
Related Benefits
Hourly rate starting at $17.00, with increases depending on level of degree and applicable experience.
