PROFESSIONAL LEARNING

“And God saw all that he had made, and it was very good” (Genesis 1:31a NIV). This goodness that God saw at creation still permeates our broken world and tells part of the story of God’s work in our world. Come gather with fellow educators as we dive into teaching practices that invite and equip students to realize their part of God’s story. Together, we will engage in ways that allow students to be fully alive and embrace creation as they learn. Held at Creation Village World School, right around the corner from Converge, participants will be led by several educational leaders doing great work, along with students from the school. Expect an active day of digging into learning, both figuratively and literally. A farm-to-table lunch will be included. Each participant will leave knowing our Creator more deeply, better able to share his story with students. We encourage attendees to participate in outdoor field work, so please dress accordingly and prepare to get a little dirty!
