Job Requirements

The Christian school teacher’s role is to help students learn Christian concepts in all areas of curriculum matter and to help them internalize the subject matter, skills, and attitudes that will prepare them for Christian leadership. They energetically serve the mission, vision and philosophy of Calvin Christian School. Christian School teachers find satisfaction in the passionate promotion of excellence in Christian education, helping to produce students that are prepared academically and with a robust biblical worldview. 

 

Education Requirements

The Christian school pre-kindergarten teacher should have an early childhood certification (or a commitment to begin the process of becoming a certified teacher within 1 school year), and will be evaluated by the administration to be capable of giving effective instruction to students at the assigned grade and subject level and called of God to the Christian school teaching profession.
