Christ Preparatory Academy (CPA) seeks a visionary, Christ-centered Head of School to lead our K–12 Christian, college-preparatory community. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Head of School serves as the chief spiritual, academic, operational, and administrative leader, stewarding CPA’s mission to equip students to live Christ-centered lives every day. This role provides strategic leadership in academic excellence, spiritual formation, faculty and staff development, enrollment growth, and community engagement. The Head of School partners closely with families, churches, donors, and community leaders, while advancing fundraising and long-term strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include oversight of curriculum, accreditation, budgeting and financial health, facilities and operations, and transparent reporting to the Board within a Policy Governance model. The ideal candidate demonstrates a vibrant Christian faith, strong relational and communication skills, proven leadership in Christian education, and the ability to cast vision while executing with excellence.

Job Requirements
The Head of School’s responsibilities include:
Vision, Strategy & Organizational Leadership
• Cast and steward a compelling, mission-driven vision that propels CPA into its next phase of growth.
• Lead strategic planning that aligns with CPA’s Ends Policies, mission, and long-term objectives and translate into clear, measurable, and actionable initiatives for academic, operational, and spiritual development.
• Build a culture of collaborative, empowered leadership—equipping admin leaders, teachers, coaches, and program directors.
• Lead organizational change with wisdom, clarity, humility, and relational discernment.
Spiritual & Relational Leadership
• Maintain a visible, relational presence among students, staff, families, and athletes.
• Cultivate an Christ-centered environment where individuals are known deeply, loved unconditionally, challenged spiritually and marked by respect, joy, and excellence..
• Shepherd staff and families with encouragement, accountability, biblical wisdom, and spiritual care.
Fundraising, Development & External Relations
• Lead fundraising, donor development, stewardship, and advancement communication.
• Build and nurture relationships with churches, donors, community partners, alumni, and stakeholders.
• Serve as CPA’s public ambassador—communicating mission, vision, and outcomes compellingly.
• Partner with the Board on development strategy, capital initiatives, and long-term facility planning.
Academic & Program Leadership
• Ensure academic excellence grounded in a biblical worldview.
• Support and hold accountable the leadership team members, faculty, coaches, and program directors.
• Maintain accreditation standards and ensure best practices in curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Promote professional development, collaboration, and a culture of excellence among instructional and coaching staff.
Operational Leadership & Oversight
• Oversee key operational areas including admissions, marketing, facilities, athletics, technology, safety, and school-wide logistics.
• Manage relationships with landlords and partners related to facilities rented by CPA.
• Strengthen operational systems, communication structures, and administrative processes.
• Provide stewardship of financial resources through budgeting, forecasting, and strategic allocation.
• Ensure safe, effective, mission-aligned operations across all campus activity—including academic, athletic, spiritual, and community programs.
Community, Culture & Family Engagement
• Engage parents as essential partners; support communication, community-building, and relational trust.
• Support extracurricular, athletic, and community programs that extend CPA’s mission.
• Champion student well-being, belonging, and spiritual growth.
Governance & Reporting
The Head of School reports directly to the Board of Directors. CPA operates under a Policy Governance model, in which the Board defines mission outcomes (“Ends”) and operational boundaries (“Executive Limitations”). Within these boundaries, the Head of School is empowered with full operational authority and provides transparent monitoring reports demonstrating progress and compliance.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in education, administration, or related field
