On June 10, the Christian Schools International office co-hosted a community event to celebrate the last day of the school year. The event was also supported by other local organizations, including a neighboring apartment complex.
“The purpose of the event is to be part of the community and to show that we truly care for and love our neighbors, children and adults alike,” said John Wolters, CSI’s chief financial officer. “They are our brothers and sisters in Christ.”
Kids stopped by the CSI parking lot to enjoy treats including popcorn, candy, juice boxes, and freezer pops, and to play games do some crafts, and get an up-close look at a fire truck and a police car from the City of Kentwood.
This is the second year for the event. More than 100 children and adults attended.
