4 PS Teacher
This position would entail teaching 4 year old preschool, full day.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Spiritual Leadership:
- Provide leadership rooted in Christian principles, fostering a Christ-centered school culture.
- Live and show a lifestyle that bears the fruit of the Spirit.
2. Academic Excellence:
- Plan and implement lesson plans that integrate Christian principles and values across various subject areas.
- Foster a positive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and supported in their academic, personal, and spiritual growth.
- Teach content while incorporating biblical teachings and Christian worldview perspectives.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Assess student progress and achievement using a variety of assessment methods and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support the overall mission and goals of the school.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices and Christian educational trends.
Serve as a positive role model for students, demonstrating Christian values such as compassion, integrity, and servant leadership.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Valid Iowa teaching certification/license.
- Profound understanding and commitment to Christian faith and values.
- Previous experience teaching in a Christian school or ministry setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote critical thinking and active learning.
- Dedication to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Willingness to adhere to the school's mission, vision, and statement of faith.
Education Requirements
Iowa teaching license, or we will consider candidates making progress toward a license.
