HS Life Science Teacher

Beaver County Christian High School is looking for a dynamic, collaborative, full-time life science educator who is committed to Christian Education.

We are seeking a candidate with the proven ability to deliver curricular content with innovative strategies that fully engage students in learning, while modeling Christ to deepen students’ understanding of a Christian world and life view. Education Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a spiritually mature and growing Christian who is active in his/her Christian life
  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Must hold a teacher’s certification (Biology and/or Environmental Science) - can be waived by the supervising principal and/or school board
  • A successful candidate must sign an agreement with Articles II and III of the BCCS Constitution
  • A successful candidate must make a credible profession of faith and maintain active membership in a church that’s teaching agrees with the school’s statement of faith.
  • Must have an understanding and commitment to distinctively Christian education from a Reformed perspective
