Job Description Overview
Dayspring Christian Academy (DCA) is seeking its next Executive Director to begin in June 2025. DCA was established in 1975 and has continued to grow and build disciples for the past 49 years. Dayspring has been under the same consistent leadership for the past 12 years. Dayspring’s current Executive Director will transition to our Foundation Board, be available in a supporting capacity for the new Executive Director, and offer support where needed.
Dayspring is a non-denominational covenantal Pre-K through 12th grade school with a 500-student population. Our new k-6 building will be completed by May 2025 allowing us the capacity to grow to a two track 750 student campus. Greeley, located in northern Colorado has a population of 110K, we are in a conservative agricultural community 50 miles north of Denver along the front range of the Rocky Mountains.
Reporting to The School Board, the Executive Director will be responsible for leading Dayspring Christian Academy into its next exciting phase of growth. The New Executive Director will have clarity with God’s calling to serve Dayspring Christian Academy in the following ways:
Biblical Leadership
Exemplify and uphold Dayspring Christian Academy’s mission while promoting and defending the school’s commitment to Jesus Christ and a Biblical worldview.
Servant Leadership
Serve as a visible and approachable leader who is deeply involved in school life, while pursuing winsome engagement with the community.
Staff Management
Attract, hire, and retain highly qualified teachers, staff, and coaches who support and uphold the school’s mission and beliefs, and empower them to serve and grow well.
Operational Responsibility
Steward the resources of the school through sound business management and planning as well as maintaining prudent oversight of facilities.
Academic Excellence
Continually advance the school’s academic and extra-curricular programs, updating pedagogical methods, and integrating new developments in education and technology.
