Marshalltown Christian School

The individual in this position will be responsible for teaching the core components of 2nd grade, including Reading, English Language/Spelling, Science, History, and, depending on experience, Bible.

The 23-24 school year has brought tremendous growth to school and we are seeking to expand our current Elementary team. We are looking for an individual passionate about student's learning to join our Elementary teaching team. MCS elementary students are taught to be strong in reading and other core subjects while growing in their faith. Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of students.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students in the learning process.
• Assess student understanding of material and adjust instruction accordingly.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
