High School Teacher

DMCS is looking for a full-time or part-time high school teacher (potential of English, Religion, Business, Health, etc.) to join our team.

DeMotte Christian Schools is looking for a qualified high school teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This position could include teaching a variety of different subject areas. Classes could include English 9, English 10, British Literature, American Literature, Novels, Speech, Ethics, Business, Health, or Preparation for College and Careers. There are many possibilities as our current staff is flexible to make room for a candidate with an interest in certain subject areas. We are also open to a full-time or part-time teacher. DeMotte Christian Schools is located about an hour southeast of Chicago in Northwest Indiana in a community that has strongly supported Christian education for over 75 years.

Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in English Language Arts and/or secondary education from an accredited college or university, agree fully with the school's statement of beliefs, be an active member of a church with a Reformed persuasion (if full-time), and be able to teach students well. Opportunities to lead extracurricular activities are also available.
