Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach

Job Description

Kalamazoo Christian High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach to support the baseball program. The ideal candidate will assist the head coach in planning and executing practices, developing player skills, and fostering a positive team environment. The baseball season begins in March 2025.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in coaching techniques and strategies during practices and games.
• Helping with player evaluations and skill development.
• Supporting team organization, including game preparation and logistics.
• Promoting good sportsmanship and teamwork among players.
• Communicating effectively with players, parents, and coaching staff.

This volunteer position offers an excellent opportunity to gain coaching experience and contribute to the growth of young athletes in a supportive Christian environment. A background in baseball is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals.
