Job Description
In search of an experienced mathematics teacher. Candidates must possess a deep knowledge of mathematics and must be proficient with the use of technology in the classroom. Classes include Geometry and Algebra 2 with the possibility of Precalculus and/or Physics as well. Applicants should also have considerable knowledge of the philosophy and objectives of Christian education and reveal God’s glory in and through mathematical concepts and content.

- Understanding of and commitment to teach from a Reformed doctrinal perspective.
- Agreement with RCS Philosophy and Beliefs as outlined in the Faculty and Parent-Student Handbooks.
- Active member of a church whose teaching agrees with the RCS Philosophy and Beliefs Statement.
- Planning and executing daily lesson plans for all assigned classes.
- Assessing student learning through formative and summative assessments and recording/reporting progress to students and parents.
- Opportunities to coach an athletic team or direct an extracurricular activity/club.
Education Requirements
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Math, Math Education or related field
- Current certification in the subject area or grade levels for which hired (exceptions made only by Head of School)
- Continuing education credits and a demonstrated desire to be a lifelong learner.
