Job Description
This position includes facilitating projects for students who are showing a precociousness in math and language, teaching STEM units in our middle elementary and developing thinking skills in our lower elementary. This position is considered to be 50% of a full-time contract and could be combined with our English Specific Skills opening to be a full-time position. This is a contractual position from August 1-July 31.

Job Requirements
- Be a committed disciple of Jesus Christ.
- Promote and fulfill the mission and vision of Pella Christian Grade School.
- Demonstrate a passion for learning inside and outside the classroom.
- Commit to building and sustaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Lovingly guide students as they discover and develop their understanding of who God is and who they are.
- Uphold a culture of belonging in the classroom, school, and community.
- Establish and carry out learning objectives consistent with student needs, curricular standards, and a knowledge of student growth and development.
Education Requirements
- A Bachelor of Arts in Elementary or Secondary Education
- Hold or have the ability to obtain an Iowa Teaching License
- Endorsements in Talented and Gifted preferred but not required
- Agree to the Pella Christian Schools Belief Statement
