Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Teach middle and high school history courses, which may include U.S. History, World History, Government, or Geography.
- Teach middle and high school science courses.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with both academic standards and Christian values.
- Integrate Scripture and Christian principles into classroom discussions and curriculum.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages respectful dialogue, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, projects, and regular feedback.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in school events, chapel services, professional development, and faculty meetings.
• Serve as a spiritual role model and mentor, actively nurturing the faith and character of students.

Instructional Qualifications:
*Integrates biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education through the curriculum.

*Plans teaching, as much as possible, to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students, challenging each to do his or her best.
Education Requirements
Classroom teachers shall have a minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or a
Bachelor of Science Degree from a recognized college or university
and meet the requirements of teacher certification. The requirement
may be waived or adjusted by the Board.
*Classroom teachers without a teaching license will be required to attend a minimum of 20 hours of in-service training. Classroom teachers with a teaching license must take the necessary training to keep their license current.
