Secondary Agriculture/ FFA Instructor

Job Requirements

1. To challenge all students to fulfill the mission and vision of Unity Christian High School to serve God and neighbor in all aspects of life.
2. To model and share Jesus Christ as being Lord of All.  
3. To demonstrate outstanding content knowledge in their field. 
4. To use teaching strategies that are academically engaging and biblically distinct.
5. To support students throughout the high school experience, providing a safe and    inviting classroom environment.
6. To partner with parents whenever possible to build up and train young people.
7. To exhibit the characteristics of an effective Christian teacher. 
8. To provide leadership in discipling students to be transformed by the application of the Knight’s Armor in all aspects of school life.

Education Requirements

1. Excellent interpersonal skills notably in team building and conflict resolution.
2.  Strong ability to integrate a biblical worldview into all duties.
3. Strong technology and communication skills. We are a 1:1 school with Macbooks. 
4. Ability to create and implement curriculum that is current, relevant and faith infused.
5. Bachelor's degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
6. Valid Iowa teaching certificate in secondary education.
7.  Experience in related field is taken into consideration.
