Job Requirements
Administrative Leadership:
- Provide leadership and oversight of all educational operations.
- Plan, organize, and implement professional development opportunities that support the growth of faculty and staff.
- Evaluate faculty and staff performance in alignment with school goals and professional standards.
- Lead new teacher development, providing mentorship and consistent feedback to enhance classroom practice.
- Participate actively on the Education and Technology Committees.
- Attend board meetings as requested by the Head of School or School or School Board President.
Instructional Leadership:
- Oversee the school's academic programs, ensuring high-quality instruction and strong student performance.
- Foster continuous improvement in teaching effectiveness.
- Teach up to two classes per day.
Operational Leadership:
- Perform all school scheduling.
- Coordinate substitute coverage for faculty and staff as needed.
- Oversee student discipline and attendance procedures.
- Supervise the leaders of specialized program, including the Resource Room, Athletics, and afterschool programming.
Spiritual Leadership:
- Demonstrate a passion for Christian education and love of students.
- Ability to build Christian community inside and outside the school.
- Demonstrate high standards of professional practice and understanding of teaching and learning from a Christian perspective.
- Promote student academic success and spiritual growth.
Education Requirements
Years of Experience: 5 or more years (preferable) Ability to obtain an Iowa administrator's license (preferable)
