We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team and guide young learners in their academic, social, and spiritual development. This role involves creating a Christ-centered environment where children feel loved, safe, and inspired to grow in their faith while building foundational skills for lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Faith Formation:
- Integrate Bible stories, prayer, and faith-based activities into daily lessons.
- Model Christ-like behavior and encourage children to develop their personal relationship with God.
- Partner with families to support spiritual growth at home.
- Classroom Instruction:
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive, motor, and emotional development.
- Teach foundational academic skills in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving.
- Encourage creativity through art, music, and hands-on exploration.
- Classroom Management:
- Create a safe and welcoming environment where children feel valued and supported.
- Establish and maintain classroom routines that promote positive behavior.
- Cultivate a culture of kindness, cooperation, and respect among students.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other teachers and staff to provide holistic care and education.
- Communicate effectively with parents to share progress, milestones, and ways to reinforce learning at home.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- A passion for working with young children and guiding their spiritual and educational growth.
- Experience in early childhood education, with a strong understanding of developmental milestones.
- A personal commitment to Christian values and faith.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Must have a degree with a teaching endorsement.
