Job Description

Byron Center Christian School is seeking candidates for a full-time physical education teacher to begin in August 2026. We are looking for an individual with a growth mindset who is passionate about students and about helping them grow in both their faith and their learning. The candidate must have a desire to design learning so students can see God’s story and live God’s story, shaping individuals and the entire school community. The candidate must be a professing and maturing Christian who enthusiastically supports BCCS’s purpose and mission. Teachers at BCCS work within a team as part of a Professional Learning Community (PLC). The candidate will also use the Teaching for Transformation (TfT) framework to connect faith and learning. TfT and PLC training and support will be provided. A current teaching certificate with a physical education endorsement is also required.
