Part-Time Elementary PE Teacher

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging PE lessons aligned with state and national standards.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and active learning environment.
• Integrate one’s Christian faith into daily lessons and interactions with students.
• Teach fundamental motor skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
• Organized and supervised physical activities, games, and fitness programs.
• Promote health, wellness, and lifelong physical activity habits.
• Ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student development.

Education Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Valid Michigan teaching certification in Physical Education (or ability to obtain).
• Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for physical education and student development.
