Job Description
Are you a Knowledgeable Network/Systems Administrator looking for a fulfilling role that directly impacts the mission of a Christian School? Sioux Falls Christian is seeking a dedicated Christian professional to join our supportive and collaborative technology team. This position requires strong technical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a desire to work on a team, and a commitment to serving our staff and students from PK-12.
The Role: This person will be responsible for maintaining server health, network security, and a fleet of Windows devices, as well as assisting with user support across our campus and collaborating on best practices in this environment. the person in this position partners with three other tech team members and reports directly to the Director of Technology and Digital Education.
Key Requirements and Schedule: Full-time. Requires on-call availability to respond to network emergencies during standard school hours. Requires on-call availability for critical network or server issues during athletic events and other school events that occur during nights and/or weekends.

Job Requirements
System Integrity: Performing critical monthly Windows updates across all physical and virtual servers and verifying backups.
User Support: Managing Active Directory accounts for hundreds of staff and students, including applying necessary group policies.
Network Heath: Configuring WLANS for our diverse user base (Staff, students, guess) and trouble shooting connectivity and firewall issues.
Security Focus: Implementing and responding to antivirus notifications, monitoring firewall activity, and educationg staff on essential cybersecurity practices.
Device Management: Creating system images for mass deployment and collaborating on the management of inventory, repairs, and purchases of new devices.
Special Projects: Handling key administrative tasks like applying for e-rate funding and managing compliance for the inventory status of the items purchased with e-rate funds.
Campus Support: Providing Network access and security for specialized systems
