Music/Band Teacher

Job Description

Heartland Christian School is looking for a full-time music and band teacher.  The position will be teaching music classes Pre K-3 thru 12th Grade.  This position would also conduct music/vocal lessons, band lessons (horns, string, & percussion) during school hours.  This position also would be the director of the Christmas & Spring Programs.
Heartland Christian is an accredited school located in Council Bluffs, IA for the past 25yrs.  We currently have 288 students Pre K-3 through 12th Grade.  We are currently members of the State of Iowa Music & Band Unions.
This position comes with a salary of @$33,000.
Approximately 164 school days.
1%-3% Retirement Match.
Free tuition for staff children who do not live in Iowa (mainly this is for our staff that live in the Omaha/Bellevue area).  Iowa residents qualify for ESA.
