Job Description
Sheboygan Christian School, a parent-governed Pre K–12 school serving approximately 600 students from more than 50 area churches, is seeking applicants for a FULL TIME MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER (Grades 6-8).
The ideal candidate will have a Christian worldview, a passion for Christian education, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The ideal candidate will be warm, professional, and collaborative, with strong classroom leadership and a commitment to excellent instruction. In addition, this candidate will be creative, flexible, a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and have a passion for teaching students.
As a middle school science teacher, the ideal candidate will help students explore science as the systematic study of God’s creation using a balanced approach of instruction, demonstration, observation, inquiry, and hands-on learning.
Experience teaching science and familiarity with the Teaching for Transformation framework is preferred.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and Education Certification
Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction certification/licensure in Elementary Education or Science
