Middle School Science / Math Teacher

Job Description

• Demonstrates a passion for Christian education and love of student
• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior as well as a commitment to the school’s Reformed perspective of Christian Education and affirms Sanborn Christian’s Faith Statement
• Be an advocate of the school, Christian education, and teach from a Reformed and Biblical worldview and perspective.
• Has knowledge, and ability, and interest in teaching science and math to students in middle school / junior high.
• Ability to work as a team member and relates well with students
• Will be responsible for a middle school homeroom, but will NOT need to teach PE, art, or music as we have a full staff to cover those classes.
• Create a caring, respectful, well-kept, well-managed, safe, structured, supportive, and Christian learning environment that is conducive to learning and growing for all students.
• Develop and maintain relationships with students, administrators, colleagues, and parents.
• Hold a current IA teaching license or has the ability to obtain one.
