Job Title: Middle School & High School Mathematics and Technology Teacher
Position Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Principal or Academic Dean
We are looking for a Christian teacher who will teach middle school or high school Mathematics and Technology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate student-centered teaching methods, and abilities to connect learning with a biblical worldview. The teacher will play a key role in supporting the school’s mission and helping students grow both academically and spiritually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach middle and high school mathematics courses, including middle school mathematics, pre-algebra, algebra, and higher-level math as needed
- Teach technology courses such as digital citizenship, computer applications, coding basics, based on the school’s program
- Design and implement lessons that reflect student-centered learning and align with the school’s mission and vision
- Use varied instructional strategies and technology tools to support differentiated learning
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school-wide initiatives
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student learning and development
- Maintain accurate and clear documentation of lesson planning, unit plans, and curriculum maps
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities
Job Requirements
- Experience teaching middle and/or high school students preferred
- Strong skills in classroom management, communication, and digital instruction
- Proficiency with educational technology and digital tools
- Commitment to student-centered instruction and continuous improvement
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Computer Science, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification for secondary education (or eligibility to obtain one)
