Job Description
This long-term substitute position includes teaching 2 sections each of 6th grade Social Studies, 6th grade English, and 7th grade Literature/Composition while also covering one study hall per day. DeMotte Christian Schools is located about an hour southeast of Chicago in Northwest Indiana in a community that has strongly supported Christian education for over 75 years.
Job Requirements
Ideal applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts, Social Studies, and/or secondary education from an accredited college or university, agree fully with the school’s statement of beliefs, be an active member of a church with a Reformed persuasion, and be able to teach students well. Opportunities for long-term employment could apply to an ideal candidate. Candidates without a teaching license that have experience working with middle school should apply.
