Job Summary:
CCCS is seeking a full-time Middle School / High School (MS/HS) Principal for our campus in Walnut Creek, CA. The Principal is a leader in the school community and is responsible for the academic operations of the school. The Principal plays a primary role in overseeing management of academic programs and improvement of instruction to ensure alignment with the mission and core values of CCCS.

- Serve as an educational leader, providing vision to ensure the academic, social, and emotional development of all students
- Maintain high academic standards while managing faculty and staff as well as collaborating with parents and school community as a whole
- Establish positive parent-school relationships and promote safe, secure and nurturing learning environment
- Accountable for effectiveness of programs and curriculum through routine evaluation, assessing improvement opportunities and efficiencies
- Oversee the implementation of school discipline policies for fair and consistent enforcement including tracking attendance (5 days RFA), tardies, behavior, dress code and use of technology
- Promote student engagement through extracurricular activities, student leadership programs, community service and supportive learning/mental health initiatives
- Collaborate with Student Care Team Director on procedures including safety drills, lunch supervision, carline, after school care and detentions (lunch/after school)
- Oversee/collaborate with HR for the recruitment and onboarding of teachers including training and ongoing evaluation of faculty
- Manage teacher goal setting and performance evaluation
- Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their skills and keep current with educational trends
- Participate in the admissions process, including conducting interviews with prospective families and students, scheduling campus tours
- Accreditation team member (WASC/CSI)
- Budget management
- Oversee master scheduling including teacher course assignments, bell schedule, course offerings and flex period
- Support extra/co-curricular programs such as Student Council (class advisors), MS Student Leadership, Athletics, Drama, Chapel, International Students

Qualifications:
- Valid teaching credentials are required.
- Bachelor’s degree & Master’s degree in education or related field is required.
- Minimum of 6 years teaching experience.
- CPR Certification
- Commitment to the Christian faith aligning with CCCS statement of faith

- Compensation range $87,125 – 106,375/annually; commensurate with education and experience
