Job Description
- Create a caring, respectful, well-kept, well-managed, safe, structured, supportive, and Christian learning environment that is conducive to learning and growing for all students.
- Facilitate distinctively Christian instruction, curriculum, and assessment.
- Prepare daily lesson plans in alignment with secondary math standards and benchmarks.
- Advocate for students and keep a “students first” focus.
- Recognize all students, parents, and colleagues as image bearers of God and maintain an attitude of constructive cooperation, praying for and supporting all members of the school community through various means.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, administrators, colleagues, parents, and school supporters.
- Grow in professional knowledge of students, faith development, Christian education, curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
- Be a champion and advocate of the school and Christian education.
- Demonstrate success as a teacher and hold a current teaching license.
- Skills in collaboration, cooperation, research, planning, flexibility, and innovation.
- Ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, administrators, faculty, and staff.
- The ability to show leadership with students, parents, administrators, faculty, and staff.
- Understand and articulate teaching and learning from a Christian perspective.
