JOB TITLE:   Math Teacher – Logic School

REPORTS TO: Dean of Academics

 STATUS: Full-Time Position

Job Details:

• Full-time positions include additional full-time teacher responsibilities besides teaching the classes.
• Salary is based on education and years of classroom teaching experience.
• Courseload and preps are based on schedule needs and determined in collaboration with the teacher, but not to exceed standard limits for class and prep assignments.

General Faculty Qualifications:

• Minimum BS or BA
• Teacher licensure preferred, but not required
• 3 years teaching experience preferred
• Mature Christ-follower who consistently exhibits by precept and example the fruits of the Spirit and spiritual maturity
• Willing to invest in meaningful relationships with their students and families, prioritizing student discipleship first
• Has the ability to effectively educate in a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, and economically disadvantaged urban community
• Willing to work in an emerging school and excited about the opportunity to develop Rhetoric School culture and structure
• Supportive of the school’s mission to provide a Christian, classical education to equip students for life’s challenges to the glory of God
