Job Description
The long term substitute teacher would be responsible for teaching 6th and 7th grade Language Arts and one section of 7th grade Bible. The instructional materials would be provided by the current teacher and supported by our Director or Learning.
Job Requirements
The substitute teacher would be required to follow the pacing of the scope and sequence provided. They would also be required to administer assessments and determine grades as needed. We would ask the substitute to participate in necessary staff meetings and professional learning opportunities at JCS.
Education Requirements
Teaching Certificate required, preferred in Language Arts.
