Job Description
- ESL support for students with limited English.
- Support for students who are slow learners.
- Support for students with specifically identified difficulties e.g., dyslexia, ADD, etc.
- Organising suitable assessment techniques to assist in identifying students who are most in need of support.
- Arrangement of Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) for students being assisted by the department
- Extraction of small groups of students from class
- Working cooperatively in class with the classroom teacher
- Providing advice for the classroom teacher and working with them to amend the curriculum to meet these students’ needs
Job Requirements
- Degree in education or an advanced degree in the subject area
- Strong demonstrable Christian faith.
- A Biblical Worldview on Education.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia. Additional languages may be advantageous.
- Alignment with and commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Sekolah Pelita Harapan.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and intercultural skills.
- Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
- Genuine passion for education and contributing to the development of students.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
