Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced After School Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Kids Club Coordinator with student supervision.
The Kids Club Aide displays a passion for ministering to students. The candidate must be a professing and maturing Christian enthusiastically supporting Valley Christian’s statement of faith and mission statements.
This is a part-time after-school position. The expected work hours are 3:00 p.m.—5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Job Requirements
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is a consistent testimony
- Faithfully attend and financially support a local church whose beliefs are in agreement with our school
- Agree to uphold Valley Christian's Statement of Faith
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Ability to multi-task with organization
- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions
- Able to use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets for tracking student attendance
- Be flexible to stay late if a parent arrives late
- Ability to communicate with parents when students misbehave during Kids Club
- Able to create a weekly schedule for Kids Club attendees
- Current CPR and First Aide certifications preferred
- Must comply with background check procedures at time of hiring
