Job Description
- Ability to teach all high school mathematics subjects including upper level.
- Adheres to the Parkview Statement of Faith.
- Affirmance of being a born-again Christian.
- Regular church attendance and involvement.
- Plans, assesses and demonstrates Biblical integration in all units of study
- Is intentional and consistent at integrating faith into living relationships
- Demonstrates classroom management (routine, discipline) appropriate for grade level
- Establishes and maintains an encouraging classroom climate of love and care
- Exhibits organization preparation and transitioning in planning
- Shows interest and wonder in all learning through verbal and non-verbal communication
- Demonstrates mastery of curriculum, objectives, and resources
- Involves all learners, uses open-ended questions for independent thought and practice
- Plans and executes instruction/lessons with student uniqueness in mind
- Supervises student learning activities (monitors, guides, re-teaches, promotes creativity) and other supervisory duties actively and well
- Assesses student learning based on mastery of academic objectives
- Collaborative, giving and receiving perspectives of colleagues; joins uncomfortable conversations when needed to serve student best interests
