Layton Christian Academy (LCA) is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Math Teacher to join our vibrant academic team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will be able to teach Algebra I, Geometry, and additional Secondary Math courses, while fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth in our students.
Position: Full-Time High School Math Teacher
Location: Layton Christian Academy, Layton, Utah
Start Date: August 2025 (or earlier depending on availability)

Job Requirements
- Teach Algebra I, Geometry, and other secondary math courses as assigned
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
- Integrate biblical principles into curriculum and classroom culture
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues
- Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development
- Foster a positive, respectful, and Christ-centered classroom environment
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required)
- Valid teaching certification/license or eligibility for Utah certification (preferred)
- Experience teaching high school mathematics (preferred)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Personal commitment to Christian faith and lifestyle
