Position Overview:
Lansing Christian School is seeking a part-time College and Career Counselor for the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about guiding high school students through their college and career exploration journey, while integrating faith into every aspect of their work.
Personal Qualifications:
We seek an individual who:
- Demonstrates a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Feels called to invest in the lives of high school students and support their academic and spiritual development.
- Fosters a positive and engaging educational environment rooted in characteristics of Christian community.
Professional Qualifications:
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a valid Michigan teaching certification.
- Have experience working with middle or high school students.
- Be student-centered in approach, collaborative with colleagues, and committed to ongoing professional growth.
- Be familiar with or willing to learn the college admissions process, career readiness programming, and post-secondary planning.
