Job Description
Kalamazoo Christian Schools Classroom Teachers (2 positions; 1 full-time, 1 part-time)
Kalamazoo Christian High School (KCHS) is looking to hire committed Christian teachers ready to energetically & effectively provide our high-school students with excellent instruction taught from a Christian worldview. Two positions are open for the 2026-27 school year; 1 full-time, 1 part-time. Content areas will be combinations of business, math, science, social studies, & potentially Spanish.
The preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong & active Christian faith with a solid knowledge content area & instruction. They will understand & be committed to the mission & vision of Christian education, specifically that of Kalamazoo Christian High School. The ability to connect the Christian faith & worldview to instruction is essential for success in this position.Applications for this position will be accepted until the positions are filled. Job Requirements
Fundamental job skills & competencies include collaboration, communication (oral and written), critical thinking, dependability, interpersonal skills, organization, providing motivation & confidence, relationship/team building, stewardship, technology competency, & time management. Specific job skills & competencies include but are not limited to providing engaging classroom instruction with varying instructional strategies & carrying out professional responsibilities in & out of the classroom.
Education Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
- Teaching Certification (Secondary)
- Teaching experience preferred.
