Job Description
Responsibilities
•Develop and implement age appropriate art curriculum and lesson plans
•Instruct students in various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture and other media
•Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and exploration.
•Able to supervise lessons to ensure that students interact in a supportive and respectful manner
•Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
•Maintain a clean and organized art classroom
•Collaborate with other teachers and stuff to integrate art into the school curriculum
•Participate in school events and activities related to the arts
•Stay current with best practices in art education
•Commitment to Christian education, integrating faith and learning in the classroom
Job Requirements
Strong understanding of art history, techniques and principles of design
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Passion for art and a commitment to fostering creativity in students

Education Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or related field
