Job Description
DeMotte Christian Schools is looking for a qualified high school agriculture teacher for second semester of the 2024-2025 school year or for the fall of 2025-2026 school year. This position could include classes such as Introduction to Agriculture, Agribusiness, Principles of Agriculture, Plant and Soil, Food Science, and other classes dependent on the candidate. DeMotte Christian Schools is located about an hour southeast of Chicago in Northwest Indiana in a community that has strongly supported Christian education for over 75 years.
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in secondary education, agriculture or science from an accredited college or university, agree fully with the school’s statement of beliefs, be an active member of a church with a Reformed persuasion, and be able to teach students well. Opportunities to lead extracurricular activities are also available.
