Job Description
On behalf of the Hammond Riverside Christian School Board of Directors and the Head of School Search Committee, thank you for taking time to learn more about HRCS. Our hope is that this Opportunity Profile will give you a clear and compelling sense of who we are as a school and help you prayerfully consider your fit for and interest in this important leadership role.
Hammond Riverside Christian School will open its doors in August 2026, serving as a Christ-centered learning community in the heart of Hammond, Indiana (30 minutes outside of Chicago). While we are a new school, our mission is rooted in a deep commitment, born out of our Reformed theological worldview, to prepare students to lead and serve with distinction, representing Christ and seeking His kingdom in all areas of home, church, society, and culture. Birthed from three schools serving a collective 2,200 students, we envision a vibrant, nurturing environment where academic excellence, spiritual formation, and community engagement are woven together to equip students for lives of faithful impact.
As we look toward our inaugural year, we are prayerfully seeking the person God has prepared to lead HRCS into its future, someone equipped to establish strong foundations, cultivate a flourishing school culture, and faithfully pursue our mission in a rapidly changing world. If you are interested in pursuing this opportunity, please reference the Process of Candidacy page on the linked Opportunity Profile to begin the application process.
