Job Description
The candidate will be certified to teach K-12 music in the state of South Dakota and/or willing to obtain certification or alternative certification. The candidate will have previous experience teaching music (both vocal and instrumental) to students of all ages. The candidate will have a passion for instilling the love of music into their students.
Job Requirements
Elementary (K-4) music classes 3 times a week
5th grade chorus 2-3 times a week & 5th grade band 2-3 times a week
6/7 chorus every other day for 40 minutes
6/7 band every other day for 40 minutes
8-12 band every other day for 50 minutes
8-12 chorus every other day for 50 minutes
Lessons as able to fit into schedule
All state contests, group/individual contests throughout the year
Education Requirements
Certified to teach vocal/instrumental music in the state of South Dakota or willing to obtain
