Job Description

Faith Community Christian School is looking for a qualified teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

We currently have a homeschool hybrid program for students. Because of the current makeup of the current class, this position would be teaching First Grade on Monday through Wednesday and then move to Intervention work with groups and one-on-one work with students on Thursday and Friday.

There is some flexibility in this position for those seeing part-time employment as well.

  • Prepare daily lesson plans.
  • Teach lessons using a variety of methods and learning techniques.
  • Collaborate with current teachers, administrator, and staff.
  • Passionate for education.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A strong and bold faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Work one-on-one with students and small groups.
  • Seek guidance and follow directions for intervention from our ESS Director.

Education Requirements

  • A degree in education is preferred.
  • A current teaching license or the willingness to work toward one.
