This leader will model the love of Christ in all relationships, fostering an environment of belonging, grace, and care that reflects the heart of God and the calling to love as He first loved us.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Visionary & Strategic Leadership • Cast and implement a bold, Christ-centred long-term vision for the school • Address strategic priorities such as facility development, high school model refinement, and possible Christian school partnerships • Lead initiatives in enrollment growth and student retention across all grades • Build trust-based relationships with staff, students, parents, and the broader school community
2. Governance & Board Relations • Collaborate with the Board on strategy, policy, and accountability • Provide monthly reports and timely updates on school operations • Lead operational and educational execution while seeking Board input on capital projects and major decisions
3. Operational & Financial Oversight • Partner with the Director of Finance and Board Treasurer on budget planning and execution • Champion capital development, space solutions, and financial transparency • Guide strategies for student recruitment, enrollment growth, and family retention • Oversee operational health while delegating effectively to Directors
4. Fundraising & Advancement • Serve as the public face of the school in donor relations and capital campaigns • Collaborate with Advancement Staff to cultivate and steward major gifts • Represent STCCS in the community and to prospective supporters
5. Leadership & Staff Development • Lead with humility, integrity, and Christ-like character • Mentor and support Executive Leadership Team and Administrative Support Staff • Foster a spiritually healthy, professional, and joy-filled workplace culture • Encourage professional development and lifelong learning among faculty
6. Local Community Engagement • Be highly visible in the local community • Build and maintain positive relationships with churches, donors, alumni, and community partners • Foster strong connections within the larger network of Christian Schools and organizations

SPIRITUAL & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS • Committed Christ-follower and servant leader • Fully affirms and upholds the STCCS Statement of Faith, Constitution, and By-laws • Demonstrates humility, prayerfulness, and personal integrity, walking closely with God and living out Scripture in the rhythms of daily life
KEY COMPETENCIES • Visionary leadership with ability to unify and mobilize • Strategic planning and decision-making • Relationship-building and team leadership • Excellent written and verbal communication • Conflict resolution and cultural discernment • Basic financial acumen and donor engagement
Education Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • Minimum: Bachelor of Education Degree • Required to be a member in good standing of the Ontario College of Teachers or equivalent governing body • Preference given to those who hold a Masters of Education or PQP 1&2 or similar school leadership development initiatives • 5+ years of education experience • Administrative experience strongly preferred
