Job Description
Illiana Christian High School seeks an imaginative and insightful English Teacher to join our high school faculty due to continued growth and enrollment for the 2026-27 school year. This is a full-time position with benefits. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to Christian education and can help students recognize God’s work through the study of literature. Teaching responsibilities may include English 9-12, Honors English 9-12, Advanced English, Creative Writing, Developmental Reading, Journalism, or other high school-level English courses depending on experience and department needs.

- Develop students’ reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
- Provide constructive feedback and support student success.
- Engage in devotions, professional development, and school activities.
- Reflect Christian values to students, parents, and faculty.
- Desire to integrate faith and learning in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching license (or ability to obtain one).
- Demonstrated commitment to Christian education and the Reformed faith.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relational skills.
