Job Description
The preferred candidate will:
- Embody empathy for a diverse range of students and families
- Excel at written and verbal communication
- Have experience counseling students and families toward psycho-emotional wellness
- Be prepared to teach social-emotional classroom lessons to TK – 6th grade students
- Work as an essential team member with teachers and staff to provide development, guidance and care for the whole student
- Seek collaboration with faculty and administration to build campus community and classroom culture
- Recommend assessment and evaluation for students that demonstrate areas of social/emotional/behavioral struggle
- Participate in the process of creating and administering 504 plan accommodations
- Provide psycho-educational instruction and support to teachers and parents
Education Requirements
Qualifications
- An advanced/master's degree in a related field of study is required (e.g., counseling, social work, LMFT, LPC, LCSW, PPS, etc.)
- Experience in a school setting is preferred
- Applicants must profess and practice faith in Jesus Christ and be active members of a local Protestant church community.

- Salary range- $37.50- $45.00 per hour based on experience
