Job Description
- Assists the teacher in day to day classroom learning with individual and group needs of students
- Able to complete pertinent classroom paperwork (ex. grading, organizing student work, answering questions and maintaining a conducive work environment)
- Able to teach small groups and lead classroom activities
- Guides students in the daily protocol of the classroom and able to correct students accordingly
- Able to assist with school responsibilities like recess, carline pickup and field trips
- Demonstrates ability to enhance academic performance and support for students
- Shows proficiency with software applications required for effective, efficient school operation
- Demonstrates ability to physically perform tasks involved with monitoring, supervising, and active support of students
- Demonstrates competence in content knowledge appropriate to the position
- Uses strategies to deliver instruction that meets the multiple learning needs of students
- Demonstrates competence in age appropriate classroom management
- Demonstrates consistent spiritual leadership in the classroom and school through biblically directed, Christ-centered education
- Heart for educational service and student instruction
- Adept in organizational skills and communication
- Communicates effectively with lead teacher, other staff and principal
- Displays a friendly, approachable, courteous, flexible, and self-controlled attitude

Education Requirements
- Experience: educational work with kids in daycare, preschool or in a day school
- No teaching or substitute license required
