Job Description
Create, implement, and oversee a vision for biblically rooted instructional excellence:
- Thoroughly know and understand the educational philosophy, mission/vision, statement of faith in order to ensure seamless integration of instructional approach.
- Provide instructional coaching that serves as a support for the faculty and drives growth across the school.
- Establish and nurture an optimum learning environment within the school.
- Provide professional leadership in organizing, administering, supervising, and evaluating the effective operation of the school as it pertains to curriculum and instruction.
- Report periodically to the board on all curriculum and instructional matters as directed by the Head of School.
- Oversee new teacher training, onboarding and mentoring.
- Play a leadership role in fostering professional growth, faculty support and building staff morale throughout the school.
Curriculum & Accreditation:
- Oversee all aspects of curriculum and instruction.
- Responsible for the vertical alignment of curriculum from 3K through 8th grade.
- Oversee CSI/WRISA accreditation process, School Improvement Plan Development and implementation, ensuring a consistent standard of excellence in outcomes.
- Keep informed of the latest research, trends, and development of best practices and present to staff.
- Coordinate and monitor staff professional development and in-service activities for instructional purposes and to ensure alignment with school-wide priorities and educational goals.
Inclusion & Academic Support:
- Responsible for the alignment of student services across all grade levels and the effective delivery of timely, differentiated and targeted academic support for students.
- Supervise the Educational Support Services team, ensuring an equitable, best practice framework that is consistent across the school.
- Lead the assessment and potential implementation of Academic Inclusion programming, ensuring alignment across the school.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of School and school counselor to ensure all academic services align with social-emotional programming and spiritual life initiatives.

Education Requirements
- Master's degree in the field of Education is required. Special education background and training required.
- Knowledge of best instructional and educational practices.
- Experience working with and leading a team is desired.
- Experience with various benchmarking, intervention/support, and curricular tools.
- A valid teaching certificate is preferred but not required. If not in possession of a current teaching certificate, must be willing to work toward obtaining a valid WI teaching/Administrator's license.
