Job Description

South Christian High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a mission-driven leader to serve as our next Director of Advancement.

South Christian High School is a vibrant community of over 60 faculty and 770 students, dedicated to its mission: to equip students to live Christ-centered lives and serve God to their greatest potential. 

Reporting to the Head of School, this individual leads and oversees all aspects of fundraising and donor engagement at the school. This person will establish and grow deep partnerships within an established donor base of supporters of Christ-centered education, while also cultivating new relationships among others who are passionate about the school. 

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a passion for Jesus Christ and can promote the school’s mission while meeting fundraising goals and objectives on an annual basis. The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills and is able to tell stories of the school and its students that inspire others to join in the mission.
