Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that deliver high-quality instruction and promote academic excellence
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Integrate biblical principles and a Christian worldview into all aspects of the curriculum and classroom activities.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through formal and informal assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
- Participate in school-wide events, staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student growth and address any academic or behavioral concerns.
- Serve as a role model for students, demonstrating Christian character, integrity, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Job Requirements
- Valid teaching state teaching license for the appropriate grade levels, preferred
- Previous teaching experience
- Strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and effective instructional practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to Christian education, integrating faith and learning in the classroom.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with students and families.
- Active member of a Christian church and a lifestyle that reflects Christian values.
