Job Description
Leadership and Administration:
- Promote the mission of WCS in all activities of the school. Specifically, to nurture the academic, spiritual, personal, social, creative and physical development of students, in cooperation with their parents, for Christ-like service in God’s World.
- Encourages innovative teaching methods, best practices and technologies.
- Attend and contribute to weekly Administrative Team Meetings as well as monthly Educational Committee meetings with the Board of Trustees.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, supervising and evaluating staff.
Curriculum Development:
- Fosters a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes academic excellence, student engagement, and personal growth.
- Provides strategic leadership to the middle school faculty, setting clear goals and expectations.
- Manages the daily operations of the Middle School in an efficient and thorough manner.
- Collaborates with each grade level to ensure curriculum alignment with educational standards and the school’s mission.
- Fosters the integration of TfT (Teaching for Transformation) into the curriculum to support the spiritual development of students.
Student Affairs:
- Works closely with classroom teachers and Educational Support Services to support students’ academic and personal development.
- Fosters a sense of community and school pride.
- Responsible for student accountability, discipline and holding all students to the highest standards
Community Engagement:
- Cultivate positive relationships with parents, students, and the broader community
- Communicates effectively with parents through written communication, meetings, and other channels.
Budget Management:
- Work collaboratively with the school administration to develop and manage the middle school budget.
- Ensure responsible fiscal management in alignment with the school’s strategic priorities
Job Requirements
- Desires to serve God by using his/her gifts to provide a quality, Christ-centered education.
- Display personal qualities for effective Christian leadership
- Salary range $75,000 to $100,000 depending on experience

Education Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, including demonstrated leadership in teaching and/or administration.
- MA or above in educational administration or related field
