Central Valley Christian Middle School (CVCMS) is seeking a full-time 6th grade Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Job Requirements
All CVC employees must be in agreement with Articles I - IV of the CVCS Constitution.
Additional requirements for this position include:
- Teach 6th grade curriculum aligned with state standards and Central Valley Christian Schools’ educational philosophy.
- Integrate biblical truth and Christian worldview into instruction and daily classroom practices.
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that encourage inquiry, discussion, and critical thinking.
- Create a structured, positive, and respectful classroom environment that supports student learning and growth.
- Assess student learning through assignments, projects, assessments, and feedback, maintaining accurate academic records.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
- Collaborate with middle school faculty, staff, and administration to support a thriving campus culture.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, professional development, and spiritual life opportunities.
Education Requirements
A relevant California teaching credential is highly desirable (though not required initially) for teaching positions. Those hired without a California credential will be provided with a timeline and resources for obtaining their credential. Teachers of all experience levels are welcome to apply.
