Highland Christian is a PreK-8th grade building that serves a diverse group of 705 students. As a nationally acclaimed “Model PLC School”, Highland Christian’s focus on collaboration is highly celebrated and the key to obtaining a “Grade A” from the state of Indiana. Our teachers operate in highly collaborative PLC teams to ensure high levels of learning for all students.
Highland Christian is seeking an 6-8 Academic Support and JRH Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. It is anticipated for the 26/27 school year this employee will teach academic support classes and general education classes in junior high. It is anticipated that most, if not all, of the classes will be math. This position will also act as point person for all junior high academic support needs. During junior high electives at the end of the day, this person will be supporting students through Instructional Supported Study Halls. This schedule is subject to change to best fit the needs of the HCS and its students. Additional opportunities to lead extracurriculars or athletics may be possible.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters in Education or related field
- Current Elementary or Secondary teaching license
- Active Member in a Bible-believing Protestant Church (Majority of staff must be a member at a Reformed Church)
